She’s a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), and serves on the planning committee of the Kentucky Christian Writers Conference. Her writing credits include Amelia’s Legacy and Carlotta’s Legacy, in the Legacy Series, Annabelle’s Ruth and Sutter’s Landing, in the southern historical Kinsman Redeemer Series. When she’s not writing, Owens is a part-time bookkeeper, who loves to travel and spend time with her family. My Review Rebecca's Legacy is number three in the Legacy series. I have not read the previous books in the series but didn't have too much trouble with reading this story. The story is set in the 1940s . Amy is one of the main characters and she is a rich girl that is spoiled quite a bit. Her family , mainly her father, decided to send her off the summer after her high school graduation. She is sent to a farm that is owned by her rich family. Her summer away requires her to work at this farm. She definatley learns alot during this summer away. This story has mystery and romance. Was a good read and enjoyable read. Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary copy of this book but all thoughts and opinions are my own honest ones.
