Title: Soul’s Cry
Author: Cara Luecht
Genre: Historical Fiction
Release Date: June 15, 2017
Ione has everything she’d wanted with her busy shop filled to the brim with sumptuous fabrics, gossiping debutants, and a neatly increasing profit margin. Not to mention the unexpected attention of a man who doesn’t know her past.
And then the letter dropped from the mail slot onto to lush carpet. He was back. And the abuse, the shame, rushes in, reminding her of how unworthy she really is.
Miriam also has everything she’d wanted—and with a baby on the way, for the first time in her life, she has everything to lose. When she’d been alone, the future had held promise, but now with her life full, it also holds fear.
Unwilling to risk a vision of loss, Miriam stops painting what will be…right before Ione needs it most.

Soul's Cry is the third book in a series. I have not read the first books but that didn't really cause me any issues with this story. This is not the type of book I would usually pick to read but it was actually very good. Don't think I have read anything by this author before but enjoyed this book of hers. This is set back in history type days like back when the well off people had maids or servants that they hired to care for their homes and families. Miriam and Ione are two of the main characters and both have different background stories but they are interesting stories. In this story you find some romance and also some suspense. I would recommend to give this story a chance. Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book but the review is my honest thoughts and opinions.
