Simply cut out each strip of paper when you’re finished and put them in the jar of your choice. My Review The Hope Jar is the first book in a new series of Amish fiction. Michelle and Sara are two young women that were raised in very different situations. They both find themselves in hard spots. Michelle was trying to get away from an abusive boyfriend. While she is in a bus station the Lapps enter the scene and mistakenly think she is their granddaughter that they were expecting to meet. Poor Michelle may have made a bad choice but she kind of fell into it and had no where else to go . As time goes on as she feels comfortable and actually loved and accepted she also feels guilty of her lies. Everyone in this story was very likable for the most part and easy to get attached to the characters. The ending was one of those no .....now what happens. Then I flipped a few more pages and discover the next book in the series doesn't come out until February next year .......what. Loved this story ! Great read if you are a fan of the Amish fiction.
