Life is full of hard things . Should you give up when it gets hard? No. You should dig deep, become stubborn, and keep fighting the fight. Think back to when you finished something. Take school for instance (whether that be high school or college). Was it easy to pass and graduate ? Probably not for most. It took work , effort, maybe even some tears along the way. But it was worth it right? So whatever you are dealing with now, I want to encourage you to not give up. This can be applied to many things in life such as your jobs, relationships, diet/fitness journey, spiritual walk, etc. For example I am on a journey of better health and I want to reach my goals of weight loss , gain strength, and just overall better shape. Now on my journey things creep in all the time to make it hard for me to get in my workouts . But if I want to reach those goals of mine then I really need to keep trying hard to not miss a workout too often. If I stay strong and fight through the obstacles I have faith and believe that it will pay off and I will not be sorry that I kept fighting .
So are you going to keep fighting ? Make a list of what your obstacles are and how you can get past them. Remember it will not be easy but it will be worth it. Thanks for stopping by my blog. If you enjoyed this please take time to leave a comment.

Tamera Lynn Kraft has always loved adventures. She loves to write historical fiction set in the United States because there are so many stories in American history. There are strong elements of faith, romance, suspense and adventure in her stories. She has received 2nd place in the NOCW contest, 3rd place TARA writer’s contest, and is a finalist in the Frasier Writing Contest and has other novellas in print. She’s been married for 38 years to the love of her life, Rick, and has two married adult children and two grandchildren. Tamera has two novellas in print: A Christmas Promise and Resurrection of Hope. Her first full length novel, Alice’s Notions, is due to be released in April. Tamera has been a children’s pastor for over 20 years. She is the leader of a ministry called Revival Fire For Kids where she mentors other children’s leaders, teaches workshops, and is a children’s ministry consultant and children’s evangelist and has written children’s church curriculum. She is a recipient of the 2007 National Children’s Leaders Association Shepherd’s Cup for lifetime achievement in children’s ministry. My Review: Resurrection of Hope is a story set in the World War times. It is a sweet read filled with loss, romance, and faith. This story starts out with a scene that really pulls you in and gets going from the beginning. After a lil bit the story kind of dragged a little but you will probably be pulled in and want to see how things develop. Overall not a bad read. Beller Release Date: April 24, 2018 Genre: Christian Historical Romance He’s been sent to retrieve the new missionary… But she’s not at all who he expects to find. Joseph Malcom has spent his life protecting those in need, but now that his sister is safely settled with her new family in the Canadian Rockies, his help is no longer required. That is, until he’s asked to safely retrieve the priest’s cousin to help minister to the local Indian tribe. But his passenger is not at all who he expects. After the death of her mother, Monti Bergeron has nothing to keep her in Montreal. While the prospect of ministering to the Indians out West is daunting, she looks forward to assisting her beloved cousin in his mission work. The life of a nun may be just what she needs to heal her grief, serving her Heavenly Father and fellow mankind, especially if no more pesky suitors are around to ask for her hand in marriage. But the man who’s been sent to guide her through the mountains might make her second-guess her plans before she even begins. As Monti settles into her ministry, Joseph finds his wandering feet drawn back to the Indian camp. Monti’s focus on God is more unsettling than he’d like to admit. Add to that her beauty which tests his willpower at every turn, and she’s made it crystal clear she doesn’t want a husband. But when his determination to keep distance between them puts Monti in danger, protecting her might require something Joseph might not be able to give. Click here to purchase your copy. About the Author Misty M. Beller writes romantic mountain stories, set on the 1800s frontier and woven with the truth of God’s love. She was raised on a farm in South Carolina, so her Southern roots run deep. Growing up, her family was close, and they continue to keep that priority today. Her husband and daughters now add another dimension to her life, keeping her both grounded and crazy. God has placed a desire in Misty’s heart to combine her love for Christian fiction and the simpler ranch life, writing historical novels that display God’s abundant love through the twists and turns in the lives of her characters. My Review This Wilderness Journey is the second book in a series, but I think you could read it fine as a stand alone. This story is set in the 1800s in the Rocky Mountains. The people in this story are not afraid to go into dangerous situations and to share their faith. Joseph was asked to travel to get Monti and bring her out to the wilderness area they lived in. I liked Monti from the beginning. Her and Joseph did not get off to a great start. She was determined to not give up and go back like he suggested. This story twists some adventure and also clean romance into it. Was an enjoyable read. Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary copy of this book but all thoughts and opinions are my own honest ones. Ever must risk everything she loves in order to plunge into darkness on an impossible journey in the middle of the Concealed Forest. Never before has redemption been so costly. Please note: This book contains subject matter which some may find troubling as it spotlights helping those who have experienced abuse. I tried to handle this topic as delicately as I could, keeping the reader’s experience in mind. Click here to purchase your copy! About the Author Kristin N. Spencer spends part of each day imagining up new worlds and beings when she isn’t busy taking care of her three children and writing partner husband T. E. Spencer. When she’s not writing you can find her working in full time ministry, sewing cosplay costumes, or watching geekesque movies. She writes whatever genre she wants including but not limited to Non-Fiction, Contemporary Fiction, Sci-Fi, Space Fantasy, and traditional Fantasy. Kristin studied Comparative World Literature at California State University, Long Beach and received a Bachelors, which she fondly calls a degree in reading. Her favorite movie is Sabrina (the Julia Ormond version) and her favorite person is Jesus. My Review Plunge into Darkness is #1 in a series. This is a much different read than what I tend to read. By the cover of the book and the description of the book I was honestly a little not sure about this read. But I dived in to reading this one with an openness. This book surprisingly caught me in and had me not wanting to put it down. This story revolves around two young girls that are raised very differently and they became best friends. They live in a small village that seems kind of back-woodsy. When one of the two girls disappears her friend can sense that something is not right . She does not give up easily despite difficult circumstances to help her friend. This is a book I would not recommend for any young readers. It deals with some deep heavy issues that are hard to read. I was surprised to find that I did enjoy this read. Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary copy of this book but all thoughts and opinions are my own honest ones. More Information About This Book
About the Author Jennifer Bleakley graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in biology and was planning to apply for medical school when her best friend’s father died of pancreatic cancer. Walking through that experience with a family she had loved for so long left a permanent mark on her heart, and she soon realized that God was calling her to stand alongside other families facing similar heartbreak and loss. Jennifer earned a master’s degree in counseling from Nova Southeastern University and began working at the local hospice in St. Petersburg, Florida, as a child and family grief counselor. It was a job she loved deeply and one she continued doing until she and her husband started a family. When her husband’s job required the family to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina, God began awakening in Jennifer a long-forgotten passion for writing. She began journaling—recording evidences of God’s hand at work in her new season of motherhood. Her journal morphed into a blog, and she still writes regularly about glimpsing God’s grace in her daily life at jenniferbleakley.com. Jennifer now writes curriculum and devotionals for her local church, is a contributing author for Treasuring Christ curriculum and She Believes online Bible studies, and leads a community women’s Bible study. She loves introducing children at her church and in the community to Jesus, helping them discover his goodness. Even though she once asserted she was much too introverted to be a public speaker, Jennifer has found that God’s grace is big enough even for lifelong introverts, and she now delights in speaking to audiences about his extraordinary grace at work in our ordinary lives. My Review Oh my how to sum this sweet story up is hard. Joey is a fictional book . We follow Kim and her develop of her ministry Hope Reins. This story involves following God's leading even when there are obstacles all around. Now Joey is a wonderful horse that had been a show horse but through circumstances he ended up in abuseful situations. I have always had a love for horses so this story really captured me. Drew and Marianne both are accompanying orphans on a train to find placements for them in good homes. This story is full of adventure, hardships, and romance. I found this story really grasped me and had me not wanting to lay it down. There were quite a few twists in the story. I can imagine how hard it was to try not to become attached to these children. Beeke (President of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary) Genre: Non-fiction, Bible study tool Release Date: Series released in 2009 Why the 17:18 series? In Deuteronomy 17, Moses is leaving final instructions concerning the future of Israel. As a prophet of God, Moses foretells of when Israel will place a king over the nation (v. 14). In verse 18, the king is commanded to not simply acquire a copy of the law (the entire book of Deuteronomy) from the scroll publishing house, but to hand write his own copy of the law. Thirty-four hundred years later, educators are discovering that students that physically write out their notes by hand have a much greater retention rate than simply hearing or visually reading the information. Apparently, God knew this to be true of the kings of Israel also. From such understanding came the conception of this series of books. How to Use These Books Each book is organized so that you can write out your very own copy of Scripture. You will be writing the Bible text only on the right hand page of the book. This should make for easier writing and also allows ample space on the left page to write your own notes and comments. From time to time a question or word will be lightly printed on the left page; these questions are to aid in further study, but should not interfere with your own notes and comments. Click here to purchase your copy! About the Author Dr. Joel R. Beeke is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, a pastor of the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, editor of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. He has written, co-authored, or edited seventy books (most recently, A Puritan Theology: Doctrine for Life, Living Zealously, Friends and Lovers: Cultivating Companionship and Intimacy in Marriage, Getting Back Into the Race: The Cure for Backsliding, Parenting by God’s Promises: How to Raise Children in the Covenant of Grace, Living for the Glory of God: An Introduction to Calvinism, Meet the Puritans, Contagious Christian Living, Calvin for Today, Developing a Healthy Prayer Life, and Taking Hold of God), and contributed 2,000 articles to Reformed books, journals, periodicals, and encyclopedias. His Ph.D. is in Reformation and Post-Reformation theology from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia). He is frequently called upon to lecture at seminaries and to speak at Reformed conferences around the world. He and his wife Mary have been blessed with three children: Calvin, Esther, and Lydia. My Review These are nice sturdy hardback books. I could see them being keepsakes to pass down in a family. Writing Scriptures is new to me personally. I do see how by writing verses out you are slowing down to process better what you are reading and would probably help with memory recall of Bible verses. I really liked the questions that helped you to really think more about the verses. I would recommend these if you have plenty of time to commit to them. I , personally, am a busy mom and could see myself looking at this as another task on my to do list.
